Anyone else just not GAF about the illegal kids being separated from illegal parents?

They should not be here in the first place. Their parents should not have humped them from their Central American hellhole across and through Mexico in order to breach the sovereignty of another nation.
The people to blame here are their parents for doing this not the enforcement of the laws of this country.
The US is being used and abused by the abject poverty of Central America and Mexico. These nations are not stopping these people as a big F U to the US. They see the US as easy marks to pass their own problems along. What is happening is like locusts overtaking a tree.
Their parents should have also chosen better in deciding to bring children into a world of poverty and misery before they spread their legs and allowed some dude to inseminate them.
What should really happen is you catch them and then send their asses back from whence they came. Just walk their happy asses back across the border and tell them to figure it out.
No need to house them at all and clog up an already overwhelmed immigration docket.
Catch em and walk em to the nearest border.

This is definitely registering as a 'meh' on my empathy scale right now.
Yeah, it sucks for them to be separated but they were breaking the law and potentially making life harder on my family and me in the process.
If they obey the law and have their kids taken unjustly, I'll be ticked off.

I don't see why we don't just do this. I still feel sorry for the kids because it's not their fault they have shitty parents who put them in a position to be taken away from them

Go to Another nation with your pregnant wife and have her give birth. See if they hook your kid up with citizenship simply because the birthing dance occurred there.

My goals for our POTUS’s 2nd term and really has NOTHING to lose:
1) push for term limits amendment on congress
2) Have the DOJ bring forth a 14th amendment case and have the Supreme Court correctly interpret this amendment.

I think it's pretty heartless to look at a child and say I don't care about what happens to you because of a decision you had no say in that your parent made. Good luck out there.

If those parents want to keep their kids they should not break the law.
If you (as a citizen) sell drugs or rob a bank and get caught they will take your children away as well. Where is the "outrage" for those people. Would they rather the children stay with the parents while the parents do 10 years in prison and are then deported?

Do Dems/Progs cry for the kids when Daddy is separated from kids after DUI, Robbery, Vandalism, Insider trading, tax evasion? or is it, the law is the law, at that point?

Eh I look at these people as nothing more than stains that aren’t my problem.
Run a commercial on cable news like everyone else. You know the ones that play on my emotions for the poor African kids, the lack of clean water, and dogs being kept in cages- perhaps I’ll think about their plight of being in shitty Honduras for just $.99 a day. Otherwise, we already have enough of the downtrodden that offer nothing that benefits the US- presuming of course you dont define benefit as just another body to change sheets or pick produce.
