I'm no body language expert. But Trump won the "presence" there. As if this is Trump's event and he's welcoming Kim into it. The arm pats, finishing the photo op and directing him onward.

Kim's body language, especially while they were sitting in front of the cameras for that brief conversation, is indicative that he is beyond nervous, possibly actually scared. Shallow breaths, looking down... the moment was actually too big for Him, and Trump took charge and made him feel more at ease with his own gestures, body language and another firm handshake.
Our President was born and made for moments like these. It's absolutely awe inspiring. If not for the horrible atrocities that Kim has committed, I almost would have felt sorry for Rocket Man... But no. This has to happen, and Kim needs to bend the knee, improve his country and learn his place.
