Anyone attend your local GOP party organization meetings and events?

It is probably one of the most depressing things you can imagine going to. I have attended these meetings and events in multiple counties, multiple states, as well as statewide events.
They are essentially RINO circle jerk sessions. They do not dare speak about issues, and generally do not seem care about conservatism one bit, it is mostly about getting their buddies.in power and elected. They would push and support Nancy Pelosi if she had an R next to her name.
Also lots of clueless old people who attend, I think because they are bored more than anything. Very few young people unless they are in law school or trying to get on a committee to help their careers, not many people actually getting involved to help their community.
Long story short, after going to these pretty regularly, I now completely understand how we have so many RINOs representing us. It's these kind of people who put them in power.

Well, I live in Louisiana, so yeah, this is true.
LA R's are dysfunctional. It is sad because we should be competing with TX and Bama, but, only the Good Old Boy System here.

99% of politics consists of business leaders schmoozing out of self-interest/ambition and complete political dorks trying to live out the West Wing
It's cringeworthy

Have any of the legislatures in contested states addressed votes received after election day? There is my opinion of the rino party.

I'm signing up to be a poll watcher this fall. It's the first time I've really gotten involved other than voting. Better late than never, I guess.

Yes. A lot of them.
I volunteered a lot this past primary. It made me hate local politics and everyone involved.

True story:
After Ron Paul got screwed in 08, a ton of young ppl began going to these things, getting involved, becoming precinct leaders, chair leaders, etc.
The Republicans at nearly every state changed the rules and disenfranchised us.

Our local district makes it impossible to get on any committee unless you’re part of the good ol boy club.

From my experience, they design it that way. If your not in the club, and don't play by their rules, you are not allowed in. They will bring young people in, but they have to have been trained and groomed through the Young Republicans or similar organizations. They make it seem like it's open to all Republicans, but they have their ways to keep undesirables out.

People figured out long ago that the easiest way to get richer is to buy politics. The GOP are the worst.
You have a lot of companies, individuals and political groups who thump their chest about social conservative issues they have no real interest in pursuing with legislation, but they dang sure are interested in grants, taxes, loopholes and all forms of government spending. There's few fiscal conservatives within the nuts and bolts of the republican party.
