You do know that most major oil producers are researching alternative fuels right?
Like, there are currently 30 scientists in South Louisiana paid by ExxonMobil to test sugarcane.
And that's ridiculous compared to what they are spending on solar energy.

of course we're all on "borrowed time", but in relation to fossil fuels, I think it is accurate to say it's on borrowed time. Like it or not, it's a fact that it is not an infinite resource and humans are going to have to move in another direction. We, as citizens of this planet, are going to have to start moving more and more in the direction of renewable or alternative forms of energy.

energy will transition...chemical will remain...
look at shell...bp etc...they are rebranding to "energy" companies....
was in industry over 35 years... slowly changing but has stepped up a lot in last ten years....
