If we wanted Assad's planes, choppers, tanks, missle defense, or anything else destroyed we would do it without much opposition just like Iraq. This is as much to prove a point that we can impose our force at will, and ther isn't shite you can do to stop it. A big GFY to the rest of the world ( including Russia) that we aren't gonna take your shite anymore like the last group in charge. The new red line starts with a tomahawk.
