There is nothing inherently wrong with growing up poor, its not like kids pick who their parents are. Vance pulled himself up, joined the Marines, worked in the private sector. Deja went from welfare to full time welfare and abortion advocate

if she wins - and looks like she may - that's pretty impressive for 25 yrs old. it's ok to recognize someone's ambition and accomplishment, even if you disagree with their platform. not everything has to be a "nuh uh my guys better" contest
