With what they are answering:
"No quid pro quo, no bribery, Trump wanted to make sure Ukraine was not corrupt before giving the money, Zelensky wasn't concerned or feeling pressure, Trump wanted Europe to pay more-it's in their backyard, etc..."
No need for him to go hard. They are making the case FOR Trump. He did nothing wrong. Dems are making up outrage.

True. Especially given the purported situation in the closed door "depositions" ruled by strict Democrat guidelines. So as it goes, Republicans were disallowed from freely asking questions, the opposite being the case for Democrats.
Thus, now for the Republicans, the old but absolutely true adage applies: DO NOT ask a question for which you don't already know the answer.
**Dems have the advantage of already having tested all their questions and for the most part know the answers they would receive.

Each witness needs just one question:
"What high crime or misdemeanor did you witness the President committing or have evidence of him committing?"
"What high crime or misdemeanor did you witness the President committing or have evidence of him committing?"

Give the guy a break. Its gotta be hard to get hyped up when you know your client is a guilty POS.

Why do that when instead you can catch witnesses and Schiff with their pants down by careful questioning and establishment of facts?
I mean the whole Vindman/Schiff fiasco today is the whole point.

A montage of them all stumbling over this question would be pretty effective I think.

The sham is destroyed. He is leading them where he wants them to go.

But they already have that.

He isn’t going for “booms”. He has been poking holes in the narrative, showing bias and discrediting. Basically death by a thousand cuts. He’s good at that. The reps like JJ bring the booms.

Hell he was brought on the committee just to bring the boom.

He reminds me of Toby Flenderson.

You dont go after active duty. It's a bad visual. You let him have his say, then let the pundits tear him apart.
None of this will ever amount to anything anyway.

The only bad visual this afternoon was Vindman's responses. From the obvious butthurt of people not doing what he said, to correcting Nunes about calling him by his rank, to his obviously political bias as reported by his peers and subordinates on multiple occasions.
He's an overtly biased officer who thinks far too much of himself. He is the polar opposite of what an officer should be.

How is Nunes guilty of something? What laws did he break?

I listened to him question someone, not sure who as I was listening on the radio, and all of the answers to the questions basically said that there is nothing there. There was no quid pro quo, no bribery, no extortion, there were meetings with the Ukranian president where corruption wasn't even mentioned. It was a gathering of facts and those facts simply discredit every narrative the Dems have pushed.

Nobody for Trump is changing their minds.
Nobody against Trump is either.
The question - who the hell are these people who walk around "undecided" in this political climate?

Probably not paying much attention at all.

And the Democrats turned North into a sympathetic figure, when he was just a nobody assigned to the NSC.
Joe and Suzy Stupid will do the same thing with Vindman, after CNN tells them what to think.
