EA continues to be their own worst enemy.
They’re already fricking up a lot of their non-sports franchises by insisting that linear gameplay is dead and that all their stuff be MMO.
Battlefield was one of the few franchises they hadn’t fricked up yet, albeit doing so with the related Star Wars Battlefield series.
I’m just waiting to see how Activision can top this so that Battlefield and Call Of Duty both die off in favor of new series to run into the ground.

If the producers of the game were going for authentic WWII content, then yes, a woman with a cybernetic arm in the 1940's doesn't seem to fit...
I've been playing Kingdom Come Deliverance which is a historically accurate game set in the 1400s during the Holy Roman Empire. There was a little backlash due to everyone in the game being white. But that's the way it was.
