It’s painful to watch the media and politicians continue to not understand that most of these recent attacks are elaborate trolls by nihilists with no other underlying motive.

Who says they don't understand?

What they do understand is the narrative they want to create from these events. Facts do not matter, the truth isn't important.

Many are working hard to tell their story after some people *giggle* did *giggle* some things *giggle* this weekend.

This is probably as accurate a summation/generalization as we’ll get in anything short of book form.

For those that don't know, this is the guy beat within an inch of his life in Portland a couple weeks ago.

don't make that mistake. The leftwing ideology is fully capable of 'paramilitary' actions. Look what the Communists did for decades.

That mindset, applied to sufficient levels, totally justifies violence on one's enemies "for the good of the cause". Anonymous bullies arming themselves, in order to better push around those that oppose or would stand up for themselves- we already see this in play with Antifa. It's organized, and they're already beginning to use weapons; right now it's the homemade type. Imagine if they gain widespread governmental approval (as they would under some of the more extreme candidates)... they'd quickly step it up to more deadly weapons, and become the unofficial secret military/police of the movement.

Look back at history, forget "left/right" arguments, and look at extremists. The Brownshirts in Germany in the 30's did much the same thing.

I find it interesting (and scary) to note that Trump is so vilified by the MSM, and yet his supporters aren't the packs of people wandering around cities beating the shite out of others.

It’s nice to see that CNN at least reported on him being “alt-left”. Now have 4 or 5 person panels talk about it all day to be fair.

I'm dreading the 2020 election already because it's going to be violent. I turned on the TV last night for a few min just to see the democratic candidates blaming Trump for the shootings. They are going to have their extremists worked into a frenzy by the time the election gets here.
