I have traveled the net far and wide and heard tell of place from beyond ashai. I’m hoping I’ve found a home. If you’re a believer in freedom and liberty then I consider you a friend.

Ron is fine for the first 20 minutes of a speech, then he goes off the rails the last 10 and shits on everything he said previously.

You obviously are new so I'll give you a hint; everyone is fair game here on the Poli Board.

I believe in personal responsibility and liberty. Government is never the answer. Trump has done better than I expected but he is falling short on the debt. We will be 30 tril in the hole after his first four. But overall his first year has been impressive.

If you're an alter, frick off

If you're legit, welcome

This place can be a pool of piranhas for those first starting out because so many posters over the years have tried to buttress their arguments by creating alternate accounts to agree with themselves.

It can also be especially vicious the farther Left one leans (although grudging respect can be earned via a history of well-reasoned arguments that do not devolve into emotional tantrums). This is rare though as most on the Left reason via emotion (see: OMG GUNZ11!!).

Some of our more hard Leftists are Cruiserhog and Rex, some of our more hard Righters are CptBengal and... well... he pretty much sets the standard all by himself.

The rest of us fall somewhere within that range (though most are Right/Libertarian).

The President always gets credit or the hit for the debt. The President has a huge pulpit to get things done (see: tax plan) but thus far he hasn't said much of anything about the debt since he got into office. While the tax package and regulation-cutting are great for the economy, unless he gets Congress to pass a budget to cut spending enough to pay down on the debt we are going to continue seeing high annual CPI.

Mark my words, if the federal government began running a surplus under his leadership and paid down some on the debt you would see an even greater explosion in the market as prices come down.
