That is an amazing rate IMO.
quote:

A majority of online and social media defenders of Obamacare are professionals who are "paid to post," according to a digital expert.

"Sixty percent of all the posts were made from 100 profiles, posting between the hours of 9 and 5 Pacific Time," said Michael Brown. "They were paid to post."

His shocking analysis was revealed on this weekend's Full Measure with Sharyl Attkisson, broadcast on Sinclair stations and streamed live Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Her upcoming show focuses on information wars and Brown was describing what happened when he had a problem with Obamacare and complained online.

FWIW, Sharyl Attkisson is one of a few remaining reporters with a high level of integrity. I love her work.

I would just like to go on the record as stating all the proceeds from my posting goes towards feeding the homeless.

...and housing the hungry.

Are any of your posts of the "real news" variety?

This is pretty common, it is a false narrative for most of twitter.

Yes by the logic of the study every single post in this thread is a paid post.

Brown decided to use analysis software to crunch the numbers. He evaluated 226,000 pro-Obamacare posts made by 40,000 Facebook profiles. What he found was remarkable.

Brown: 60 percent of all the posts were made from 100 profiles, posting between the hours of 9 and 5 Pacific Time.
Now I think it's a fair assumption that those posts originating from the same profiles, is probably either paid or at least not from a typical person posting on Facebook.

But the problem with these analyses and the inferences is the extent to which it's a complete or representative sample (226,000 posts) that he's analyzing. Specifically, is that 226,000 the entire population of posts, or at least a random sample. If it is then that's no problem, but if not, then the algorithm could accidently (or purposely) select posts which are more likely to be those paid posts.

I despise Obamacare, but I just want to know the scientific credibility of this analysis.

I love how the usual suspects just skipped right over this little detail, when slamming its message. And that's nationwide: 100 out of 40,000 profiles

But its pretty much the same on the PoliBoard. 60% of all leftists post come from about 8 profiles. Which doesnt mean theres a lot of support for communism on here, its just the same ole usual suspects, showing up in every thread and repeatedly posting the same garbage

Yeah. A profile with 1,000 posts from 9 to 5, is a lot different than a profile with 5 posts in that time frame.

Besides, 9 to 5 Pacific also means until 8 eastern, 7 central, and 6 mountain. I'm sure many people post in the early evening hours in their time zone.

Who is Michael/ Matthew Brown (his name changes paragraph to paragraph)?

He's supposedly a "digital expert", but no one says what his credentials are. Or what anyone's credential are who claims to be a digital expert.

What is "swen ekaf" spelled backwards?
