The 2020 election will likely come down to how the "undecided" voters in swing states feel in September and October ... and/or how bad Biden looks in the debates.

The obvious likely early leader will be Vice President MIKE PENCE. How he fairs may depend on the it Trump wins in 2020, and if not, how bad the economy is in 2023.

Former South Carolina Governor NIKKI HALEY will likely be in the hunt. She has run a state and has international experience on the federal level. Could she be the first woman President?

US Senator and former Missouri AG JOSH HAWLEY is one to watch. It may be too soon for him, but he may be at the top of the list for me. Based on his short history in the US Senate, he might be what the future of the Republican Party looks like.

FL Governor RON DESANTIS may be an early dark horse. It may depend on how all the Wuhan Virus stuff plays out there.

TX Governor GREG ABBOTT is also a possibility for entering the race.

If all of these enter the race, it may be an impressive group of GOP candidates.

Based on the 2020 DEM candidates and debates, they sure hope Biden wins. They better start looking for some up and comers ... soon.

Anyone who thinks Nikki Haley isn't anything more than Romney in a dress is insane.

If Trump is not in office in 2024, Stacy Abrams will be. No way Biden lasts 4 years in office with his mental status.

There is no way they let Biden on a debate stage.

None of them will have me dancing in the streets, I’m sure. I really just hope it’s not John Kasich.

I predict there will be no debates at all. But if there are, you can bet your last dollar they'll be moderated by those very friendly toward Biden, and that Donna Brazille will be invisible, but highly involved.

This is the answer the OP left out. But hopefully President Trump set a precedent and we will have some non-politicians run who are not beholden to their donors and the deep state.

He has pretty much said himself he likely wouldn't run for a 2nd term, he'd be in his mid 80's for god's sake. The odds of him dying or stepping down in his first term are through the roof.

The Republican Party has no viable future after Trump. It just doesn't. It's a different game these days, and the GOP just doesn't know how to play.

They can't stand up against leftist claims and attacks. They succumb to apologies, pandering, and woke politics.

They allow the media establishment walk over them entirely. Their policies continue to shift to the left in an effort to avoid being branded a racist or bigot.

Right now most of them hide behind Trump and remain silent. When he's gone, they'll be exposed - and most will tuck their tail between their legs and do anything to appease establishment forces.

Abbott will not be President. The last three Texans in the White House were terrible.

The odds of his own staffers throttling him during the campaign are through the roof.

Hell, all this shite hit the fan within a week of him making the “If you don’t support me, you ain’t black” comment.

Nikki Haley would be a disaster. Won’t get credit for being the first woman president because the R by her name. Yet she will try to appease them and be a worthless candidate.

DeSantis seems more promising than the others. Don’t trust Abbot as far as I can throw him.

He never entered my mind because it would be a joke if he ran. What is more important to changing DC, is the US Senate and House. The President signs the bills. GA had a great opportunity to have a Conservative in the Senate but the Gov picked (stock selling) Blondie, and establishment choice.

It would be great if some businessman ran. WHo would that be?

To suggest Trump is not a part of the Swamp is a joke. He plays the Always Trumpers (tm). If he wins a second term, he will be making deals Left and Right with the DEMs an Establishment GOP.

What happened to the "Never Again" President?
