That’s the BS the Resistance is claiming, we just need to wear our masks and the pandemic is over. I hope there are more Americans who don’t believe this crap than Americans who do.
It’s pretty simple, if you want to wear a mask 24/7 put the damn thing on. If you’re not a big believer in masks at least wear the mask when and where required. I’m pretty sure a vaccine will help to end the pandemic and until then use the Covid19 Task Force recommendations, if you are infected with Covid19 there are therapeutics available to help people survive and recover........we have to move forward America!

We have more mask wearing now than we did in June.
And we have an explosion of cases.

Moreover, they have masked heavily in a number of European countries and they are getting spikes now. Masks do not work.

We went to an outdoor event yesterday. A vendor was selling 'masks'. The looked so much like Muslim womens wear.

Signed Europe, who has had a greater spike, per capita, right now than we've ever had. Maybe just maybe the mask wearing is a false sense of security and doesn't do much like every health organization stated at the beginning of all of this. The science behind masks didn't all the sudden change in the middle of this pandemic like the mask mandates have.

Masks only limit the distance the aerosol from your sneeze travels. It doesn't "filter" the virus out or protect you.
The advice from scientists is still evolving. Best thing is to continue to develop therapeutics and the vaccine. But sitting at home doing nothing and hiding from the world is a non-starter for me. I HAVE to go to construction sites. I HAVE to get out for my own sanity. Yes, I take precautions but the mask isn't a magic wand.

The only reason masks "reduce spread" is because nobody wants to do shite with a mask on.

It sure didn't work out that way in Hawaii.
Most stringent mask and sheltering mandates and multiple spikes afterward.
You can't hide from this airborne virus unless you have strict PPE protocols like a CDC lab.
The virus will run its course amongst the population. All shutdowns do is delay the inevitable.
