Wow, this should have "I'm Donald Trump and I endorse this message" at the end.

Second time today I've been caught near someone cutting onions... the first was the news of the passing of Gale Sayers.

Damn strong observation. This looks a lot
like 2016 all over again, albeit it with more social unrest and Marxist election fraud.

I finally get what Scott Adams got way before any other liberal. I thought Trump's rhetoric was unnecessarily hostile and nationalistic. While I still believe Trump's rhetoric appeals to a national pride antithetical to liberalism, Trump is not a nationalist; he just understands the burden Americans bear for American internationalism.

I was wrong about Trump. Trump isn't an isolationist and Trump does understand that America does have a role to play in the world. The evidence is in the trade deals that the Trump administration has negotiated, the administration insisting our european allies pay their share for Europe's defense, exposing that the CCP is a real threat to America's national security and China will not be a friendly trading partner until authoritarian CCP is out of power, and peace deals in the middle east. Trump's "America First" puts the American republic ahead of the "American Empire." The American Republic serves "We The People," and The American empire serves bloated Washington bureaucracy, Washington politicians and the special interests that keep the politicians in power long after they're relevant to public service, and the ultra wealthy whose only use for government is to use the government force to intervene in the interest of the ultra wealthy.

I wish my liberal friends, especially the liberals that have experienced the new authoritarian left, would get over the TDS and see Trump’s presidency for what it is: “the end of the American empire and the first step to the restoration of the American republic (if we can keep it going.)” Empires don’t give up power to polite statesmen. Trump is right when he says he couldn’t do what he’s done being a nice guy.

EXTREMELY well said! You should re-post this as a new thread, on a slow news-day. Best of luck on finding a slow news-day!

Agreed. I would only add that political empire has been replaced by economic empire. Huge US corporations could give two shites about the American worker. Tapping into China’s 1B population is far more profitable. And they have the $$ to buy most pols support. It’s disgusting

Thank you for the compliment JP. I appreciate that. I'm reluctant to start a post, because I really don't want to argue with anyone. I think most people are dug into their position and would rather attack and argue than reconsider their position.
