Yep. The most horrific event for a generation and will definitely go down in the history books..

Was a freshman in college. Woke up in my dorm room avd the first plane had already hit. Saw the second one hit live. Went to class came back a couple of hours later. Took me a while to realize that the towers had fallen down. Still remember the feeling I got watching everything unfold.

I was in 8th grade. I had no idea what had happened. Was walking to class and some fat idiot was pumped as frick saying " were going to war!" Jumping up and down. Went to my next class. Got updated. Watched the second plane hit. Heard nothing but whispers of cell service not working. Everyone buying tons of gas in fear of hikes. Nothing but craziness.

The worst part was wondering whether or not it was over. Then there were the sniper and anthrax attacks. Felt like complete chaos was surrounding us.

I will never forget that Super Bowl halftime show the following year. Seeing Bono lift his jacket at the end with the American flag liner inside was awesome.

An entire weekend of college football, just cancelled. Skies with zero contrails. No airplanes flying to....anywhere. The jumpers on live TV, my God.

Yeah, it is burned into my brain. I was fresh out of college.

Watched it on tv at work. Was surreal. Then l got on the phone and called one of my wholesale vendors... he was born in Russia and had emigrated to the U.S. Proud first generation American. That dude was livid, and was ready to kill somebody. My conversation with him that day was a wake up call to a changed world.

Was in school in Queens when it went down. Could see the smoke for a long time. City was on complete lockdown. Changed this country and the world forever.

They needed horrifying images to get the masses pumped for a neverending war.

The attack itself is still, no matter how many times the specifics of it have been repeated over the years, totally fricking bonkers. I can’t believe it worked

It is hard to believe the official story of what happened.

I watched the second plane hit on live on CNBC. I’ll never forget that day and those weeks following as long as I live.

Unlike most people I didn’t get a chance to watch any of the coverage. I was on a FEMA USAR task force back then and we got deployed to the Pentagon on 9/11.

Not a day goes by where I don’t think about it. We stayed about 10 days removing victims and debris as well as shoring up the damaged structure. I still have a recurring nightmare several times a year about an incident that took place when we were clearing the main rubble pile.

It’s very sureal and difficult to explain but when I think back on it, it was one of the best and worst experiences of my life.

I did as well, except it was CNN. I was a Junior in HS when this happened. Someone from our front office came to our Marketing class and asked our teacher to turn on the news. It wasn't two minutes after the tv was turned on we saw the second plane hit live. Initially most, if not all of us, thought we were watching a replay.

Was in my car on the way to work when the first plane hit. Its weird, but because of thaf, i always think of rod ryan when i think of 9/11. I watched the rest unfold on a small tv in our office’s kitchen suite. I remember that day with such clarity.
