Bradley Byrne... My preferred candidate, solid Trump supporter with a proven record... Doesn't look like he has the numbers to make the run off

Tommy Tuberville.... I like what he is saying. Think he would do a great job. But there is this little issue about him living in Florida, that I think Jones would pound. Jones is sitting on six million dollars. What else might he find in Tuberville's past with that kind of dough?

Jeff Sessions.... Terrible Attorney general, but the first major politician to endorse Trump. This guy has been a solid conservative for 30 years with a track record to back it up. In addition, he has led the charge against illegal immigration for as long as I can remember.

Chances to beat Doug Jones if the nominee IMO...

Tubbs 96%

Sessions 99.9%

I'm going to have to go with Sessions, he is the best choice to unseat Jones and the closest to a sure thing

Tubberville seems to have a "IDGAF" attitude which I love so I want him.

Sessions has shown himself to be a swamp creature.

Either one of them are going to curb stomp Jones so no worries.

If Obergruppenfuhrer Bannon says that Jeff is MAGA and was caught in a very unfortunate situation where his honesty and naivete were trapped in a perfect storm of awful, than that's good enough for me.

He didn't really though... His track record of being the first / only sitting Senator to endorse candidate Trump and his history of launching Miller's career and nationalism give credibility to the theory that it was rotten circumstances.

Byrne.

As I’ve said all along, they all pander with pro-Trump ads, but Tubberville’s only platform seems to be how much he loves Trump.

I want somebody new, a Washington outsider. I'll be voting for Tubbs. If he doesn't get Trump's back like he has promised, he won't get a second term. I'm willing to give him a try.

Going with Sessions the only honest politician in DC.
Jeff's story will come out later where he was under surveillance and investigation and he was unable to investigate his investigators by law. But anyone but Jones is OK with me.

Any of the 3 would beat Jones. However, if I lived in Alabama, I’d vote for Tubs.

Tubs.

Sessions burned us with the recusal. If he had a spine, and didn't do anything wrong, he would have fought. Instead, he went and hid and allowed a special prosecutor to be appointed which has certainly ruined Gen. Flynn's life, and made Trump's job 100 times harder. I don't trust Sessions as far as I could throw him. Years ago, he came out in favor for term limits, now here he is trying to get his old seat back.

I don't disagree with anything you say... Tubbs has not been fully vetted yet, as he will be in the general. Old high school yearbooks, long lost girlfriends, who knows what kind of shite Dodgy Doug and his carpetbagging cronies will pull.

We need Jones out, no matter who it is. I just think Sessions is the least risky

The book isn't closed on Sessions. Judge his legacy as AG once Trump leaves office in 2025.

God-forbid Saban run for Senate or Governor when he retires from football. I really, really hope he sticks to advertising gigs and being an on-air TV analyst.
