This is primarily designed for the Sikhs and I'm 100% okay with this move.

As long as this only applies to Sikhs, I'm ok with it. They're good people.

The ones I've met are good people, but it doesn't work like that. You open the door, it's open for everybody. The seeds were planted some time ago; this was inevitable, just like women in the infantry.

It’s the Air Force.

(Or, as my Army boy calls them, The Chair Force.)

McMilitary. Coast Guard, with wings.

Uh, your "Army boy" has already seen this in the Army, years ago.

The purpose of being clean shaven is to ensure your gas mask can seal properly.

Meh. I really have no dog in the hunt. This is just a jab he picked up as he was looking at his options.

I think you can find whatever you want in any branch, but I do have a hard time thinking of any part of the Air Force as “hardcore”.

I'd think the AF PJ's have a pretty cool job.

I don’t have a problem with protecting religious liberty up to the point it poses a security risk

Even military is decaying centuries of morals and standards for political correctness

CCT, PJ, SR (formerly SOW), and TACP are all awesome jobs.

Hmmm, pretty soon it will be impossible to figure out what country's military these folks belong to.

The uniform and the flag will be a dead giveaway.

Unless you dont think these guys make good soldiers. Do their beards offend.

And these men and women have seen more prolonged combat than any generation of American soldier. Have killed over 200k enemy combatants and lost 7k of our own. Pretty damn lethal.

I dont give a shite if you want to wear a beard, a turban, or a hijab if you are willing to put your arse on the line for me and mine.

Agree

Part of me agrees and part doesn't; it's about being on a team and looking like your teammates. I get religious freedoms and I served 20 yrs defending it but today people are inventing "religious freedoms" to be different only and not part of the overall team.
