@adamhousley

Durham and Barr do not want this investigation to be used for political points, which is the way it should be. There are major rumors that there are already indictments. There are some indictments in the pipeline also for sure. The scope of this investigation is huge. Massive.

This is true. Still a waiting game. Things are heating up though, I think.

This needs to be made public as soon as it's available. Just because it's an election year shouldn't matter. I think the public is entitled to make the most informed decision possible in November. Release the findings and let the chips fall where they may.

Agree 100%. And I think this argument wins the day. The public has the right to know what's going on when they enter the ballot box. To slow play it out past elections only furthers the malfeasance.

What in the hell are you talking about?

Go back through this thread and find me an example of me being hostile towards anyone. You won't, because you can't (until right now).

Some of you people are fricking ridiculous with this shite. I'm passing along a tweet regarding an ongoing investigation with potentially enormous ramifications. This dude is an award winning journalist. His word is worthy of consideration and I don't deserve derision for passing it along. a-hole.

Boar, stand your ground. I don't mind receiving the shots myself. There are unreasonable and ill-conceived expections all around. Look at it this way....what changes for our friends on the board here just because the government makes officially public the charges/accusations that our friends already suspect are at play? Nothing. It's an arbitrary benchmark that nets nothing new. After all, even with making our suspicions officially public, they're still unproven allegations until such time at a date well after the election that they may be proven in a court of law.

To do this would net us nothing new, and isn't worth the risk that Trump runs of losing a great deal of ground at this late stage in the game given the heat he'd take for "abusing his
executive authority to affect the outcome of the election".

I think Durham has a far larger team.

If released prior to the election it would very possibly help Trump if it exposes the Democrats and the Obama administration for their nefarious actions. It would vindicate Trump and hopefully direct sentiment toward him. Those voters who are vacillating would have to think long and hard about giving control back to the Democrats especially if it means the return of many of the Obama gang. Even if Biden is not indicted it would be huge if he is implicated and shown to have had knowledge of and been complicit with the plans.

If Barr wants to assure those who are guilty are brought to justice it is imperative the cases are presented now in the event Biden wins. By releasing the indictments now it can only help Trump and adversely affect the Biden campaign to some extent. Imagine Trump going into the debates armed with this type of ammunition.
