You mean like Hank that blasted Trump every chance and then white knights for a bumbling fool on everything, and pretends to be “independent” “conservative”, but always seems to be siding with liberal policy and agendas?

Look no further than Hank’s avatar to know he is what Lew Rockwell would deem a “regime-approved Libertarian.” William F. Buckley was a CIA stooge and lifelong apologist for the Deep State.

Libertarians have been making perfect the enemy of good for 50 years, and they are just fine with getting marxist democrats elected to prove that point.

As a hard-shell libertarian, I am “fine” with no such thing. My political philosophy is simple: I don’t seek to impose my views or political preferences on anyone. Yet that should be a two-way street. In short, I want to be LEFT THE f#€k ALONE! For that simple reason, I see the Feral Government of the United States as a monstrous evil.

This is by far the dumbest statement that has come out your mouth in the years I've been on this board. It was Republicans who brought about the war on terror. It was Republicans who brought us the war in Iraq. It was Republicans who brought us the Patriot Act and FISA. It was Republicans who voted for budget after budget that ramped up the national debt. It was a Republican who signed into law the first version of the ACA while Governor of Massachusetts, and the Republicans chose him as their nominee for President. It was a Republican who cast the deciding vote against the ACA repeal, and the Republicans chose him as their nominee for President. And for all your yapping about immigration, the Chamber of Commerce and Country Club Republicans you have been electing the last few decades also want open borders. Republicans haven't had any interest in limiting government or good governance in general since the days of Robert Taft.

Don’t you love being lectured by the perpetual apologists for the taste of boot-leather in our mouths about how libertarians pose an existential threat to Liberty and Freedom?

I'm more libertarian..and there is almost zero things I support from the Democrat side at this point outside of legalization of most drugs.

They are fools now and it's crazy.

begs for an example - especially exemplifying the 'large portion' descriptor

oh - by 'boot on the neck' do you mean reverence for constitutional government??? then count me in.

Is that even really a "party position" of the Democratic Party?

Please don't conflate "conservative" for "Republican Party"

Now - find any example for 'conservatives'

are you sure Rand voted against it because he didnt want a wall or was it more about the way trump went about funding it?

Right, so when marxist democrats are in power, they wipe their asses with the Constitution and any other laws that stand in the way of their agenda, but thank goodness we have libertarians holding Republican feet to the fire. Does that about sum it up. Tell me again how we’re going to defeat and destroy marxism in this country, Mr. Libertarian.

What some of you idiots on both sides need to understand is the president was meant to be a passive frickign office. Congress was meant to be the branch that controlled the purse strings and the ability for war.

See above. What some of YOU idiots need to understand is that before long, marxist democrats are going to be about balls deep in everyone’s arse with their marxist/socialist revolution, and once there, the interpretations and usurpations of the Constitution will mean frickall, because we will all be subjects of the state, at least until the war starts.

let's also remember

it was under a Republican President where we saw, by far, the largest increase in federal debt expansion and money printing

So then, you prefer marxist democrats? Because that’s your choice.

I've never voted for a Democrat in my life. I spend the bulk of my time in the political realm trying to convince libertarian-minded Republicans to primary the Tom Rice's and Lindsey Graham's of the world. I have no interest in supporting or even dealing with the national Libertarian Party. I believed Jo Jorgensen was a fraud and I proudly voted for Trump in 2020. If Trump or DeSantis win the nomination in 2024, I will vote for them. If it's Nikki Haley or another RINO, I won't vote.

i mean there was a choice in 2020 and the DNC did everything possible to avoid allowing a Marxist to win the nomination, and a non-Marxist Democrat won

leftists are PISSED at Biden right now b/c he's reneged on all sorts of progressive promises

So the just like myself, you believe republicans are fetid pieces of shite, but marxist democrats by and large are evil. So, nutting up and doing what it takes to build a wall between the US and the horde of Mexicans that the marxist democrats (and shitbag republicans) have been using to destroy Texas as a conservative voting block, probably should have been done by Rand Paul, correct?

What do you call 20-40 million criminal illegals, with more coming across every day? Other countries would call it what it is, an invasion.

Imagine the reaction of any other country on earth if the US encouraged its dregs of society to illegally enter another country, and then demand social services and public money from them.
