Even if hopeless, it is worth the shot and is the right thing to do.

Just pursue charges against all sanctuary cities and send the Hells Angels after Zarate.

I linked it it another thread, but it’s tough to bring federal murder charges. Very limited factual situations in which it would apply.

Sessions is on thin ice with Trump Nation; it's enough that He sits on any evidence that the FBI paid for the Trump Dossier, and that it was the basis for the FISA Warrant that allowed Obama to "wiretap" the Trump Campaign. Sessions had better hound this low-life thug to hell...and the Frisco sanctuary as well.

These laws were used in the '60s to convict Klansmen let off by homeboy juries

The base sentence for involuntary manslaughter per the federal sentencing guidelines isn't much different than the state sentence for the gun charge. Crazy how the Feds can give you 20 years for wire fraud but only 1/10 of that if you take a life.

I am not a legal scholar so much as an inquisitive thinker, but could it possibly come under Federal Jurisdiction since it was a weapon issued to a Federal Agent that was used in committing the crime?

I’m sure he is in the Court of Strannix. I’m just not seeing much the Feds can get him with here in reality, but I could be wrong

Had no idea. Good find.

ETA: I wonder how they square that constitutionally and jurisdictionally with the (lack) of a general murder charge

18 USC 922g. Alien in possession of a firearm. This can get really steep on the federal side. Trust me.

He could be charged with 18 USC 924 (j)

quote:

(j) A person who, in the course of a violation of subsection (c), causes the death of a person through the use of a firearm, shall—
(1) if the killing is a murder (as defined in section 1111), be punished by death or by imprisonment for any term of years or for life; and
(2) if the killing is manslaughter (as defined in section 1112), be punished as provided in that section

That one would seem pretty cut and dried as well.
