I'm not a conspiracy theorist. There's nothing wrong in speculating why a multi-million $ airpland and 200+ people just disappeared.
Another example of a pilot suicide.
Dude had 4 live Mk-82s on his warthog and just wandered away from his flight lead. Some think he was distraught about breaking up with his girlfriend since he crashed near a ski site where they'd had their last date.

How do we know the plane ever even took off? Perhaps the Kuala Lumpurians got wind of a terrorist attack, loaded up the plane with dead folks, and were going to blow it up mid route in an effort to make the terrorists think that their plan worked, but THAT plan was discovered prior to them being able to carry it out, and they scrapped the whole thing? Not sure what they did with the actual passengers... maybe a vacation to Destin?

That's a plan so crazy...IT JUST MIGHT WORK!
I was watching a doc on TV about pirated vessels and was amazed that actual oil tankers are stolen around that area. One of the guys in the show was an insurance detective who had found stolen tankers in Chinese ports.

I wonder if it exploded at high altitude (you name the reason from fuel cell issue to terrorism) and the it was over a jungle when it happened...resulted in small particles over hundreds of miles of jungle...wherein parts have not been easily seen or located?

Maybe the rules have changed since I quit flying, but back then ALL airplanes had to have an ELT (emergency locator transmitter) installed to get an airworthiness cert. It had a little weight on a lever that would sense Gs from a crash kinda like an airbag sensor. It would transmit on 121.5 with a "whoop whoop" sound. Evidently that's not the case with this flight.

We had several of these go missing around that general area back in the 80s.

You doubters need to brush up on your quantum physics. Energy vortexes and all that. It will make more sense and be more plausible then.

Mathematicians. If the plane was travelling at 35,000 feet abruptly nose dived at 600 mph plus how fast would it hit the ocean?
Maybe a pilot /terrorist nose dived it & the seconds it would take with everyone holding on for dear life was not ample time for any distress call/text?
Maybe it fell off the radar because of the 600 mph plus descent took a matter of seconds? How fast would would that be?
Edit: Thanks I got the answer I was looking for. Automatic/computer distress call doesn't need human to alert anyone)

35k' is roughly 6 nautical miles above sea level. 600mph is roughly 10 nautical miles per minute or a mile every 6 seconds, therefore if an airplane was established in a vertical nosedive, 36 seconds would be fastest time interval for it to get to sea level. In reality, a 777 would break up in a vertical dive because it's accelerating either power on/off. After it broke up, the parts would slow down a bit because of drag.
Nobody's gonna make a radio call in a situation like that. Maybe if a pilot was a narcissist like Obama, he'd use that last 36 seconds to broadcast "I did it my way" in his best Frank Sinatra voice.
