A University Dean Defended Brett Kavanaugh. Guess What Happened Next

Will Rainford, Catholic University’s dean of social service, had held his position for five years, but was suspended after tweeting logical questions of the women who came forward to accused Kavanaugh just before he was set to be confirmed.
In another tweet, Rainford questioned why Kavanaugh’s first accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, took a polygraph test prior to making her accusation.
“Riddle me this,” Rainford said, according to the Post. “Why would the accuser of Kavanaugh take a polygraph, paid for by someone else and administered by private investigator in early August, if she wanted to remain anonymous and had no intention of reporting the alleged assault?”
quote:
Rainford was suspended by his university over the tweets. Catholic University President John Garvey called the tweets “unacceptable” when he announced Rainford’s suspension.
The dean has since resigned.

The only diversity that they don’t want is diversity of thought.

The Catholic Church is off the rails

Someone is going to have to stand up to the Campus Commies and when they do, they must be supported.
If it is a state university, a massive demonstration of support should be organized and carried out. Nothing they can do about it.
Catholics should have stormed the Administration Building.

Using logic is not allowed in liberal bubbles. Anyone not conforming to the groupthink will be punished.

The only proper response to a bully is violence. The Liberal Trash in this country needs to be exterminated before they destroy America.

From the same group that will move heaven and earth to cover up systemic pedophilia

And people wonder why Protestants we're reluctant to welcome Catholics into the country.
No knock on Catholics as a whole because my wife is a convert (I swtiched her to Lutheran when we married after the Cathloic church demanded money from the both of us after her divorce) and I have quite a few very close Catholic friends, dear friends, and several Godchildren from them ... but the Catholic Church has issues, always has, and can be corrupt at times. The schools, the church, ... and don't get me started on this current Pope.
When we lived in Italy we always attended Mass over the non-denominational services on post. Loved Italy, loved John Paul, loved the tradition ... but the church over here, along with plenty of Protestant churches, are now left wing schills, and every hit as deep state and corrupt at our government.
History always goes full circle. In the case of Catholicism there is a lonnnnnnng history of it.

This has less to do with Catholics and more to do with academia

Nothing good can come from posting on Twitter.

True dat - I have no great support for the Catholic Church in these times, but this is a direct extension of the moral and intellectual rot that has infected academia.

He was suspended by a university president - not the Pope.

Back in the 80s I lived in a neighborhood where almost every other house was occupied by a college professor, even then it was like being a communist enclave, cant imagine what it would be like today.
