A reminder not to celebrate Mothers Day this year because it is racist

When you call or go see your mom on Sunday you and her need to take some time and make amends for all that white privilege you both share.

As we celebrate our moms and mommies this Mother's Day, let us not forget that for some, motherhood is not an enjoyed privilege. For many Black, Indigenous and racialized women in Turtle Island (North America) and globally—motherhood is a fight for life.
The struggle for our maternal health and motherhood includes daily resistance against anti-Black racism, anti-indigeneity, sexism, classism and other forms of intersectional violence.
The health of Black pregnant women and mothers is a key issue being debated in the United States presidential 2020 campaigns especially by Sen. Kamala Harris and Sen. Elizabeth Warren. Recently, Harris introduced a resolution to raise awareness of the disproportionately high rates of pregnancy-related deaths among Black women.

And they still keeping having more babies so they can collect government checks. You'd think they'd understand the dangers.
As an aside, I have a friend who works in social services in south Georgia. She sees POC do drugs while they're pregnant in order to have retarded babies so they could get larger checks from the government.

I wonder who she honestly thinks is not already aware of this. Maybe she should introduce a resolution on how not to get pregnant.

Blah blah blah.
Also anti-indigeneity…. What in the wide world of frick is this
Right beside neuro-normative as a stupid buzzword the woke uses in their word salads

All mothers have struggles, and motherhood is a blessing.

Anyone still think this is a "the pendulum will swing back" kind of problem?
For a sizeable portion of this country, there will NEVER EVER be a time when we will agree to disagree any longer. Everything is seen in terms of existential threats committed by an oppressor class onto an oppressed class.
You can not live side by side with people like that, ever. I'd suggest it would be hard to even be neighboring countries with people that think like that.
I realize first things first, but simply taking back Congress and the White House will NEVER solve this problem and it will just continue to fester.

Despicable, but sadly not at all surprising.

I wonder how these people make it through the fricking day sometimes. It has to be a miserable existence.

Hmmm. I would have thought Father's Day would be the racist holiday...
