A positive spin on Savannah’s behavior

My first thought was “what a horrible, bias moderator for a townhall event. frick her.”
But, I think there’s another way to look at it.
What strong, high value leader doesn’t want to face a challenge?
Trump did as well as he did because he was in a hostile environment. Savannah played right into his hands. She tried so hard to make Trump look foolish but instead he remained calm and collected. He delivered great answers and held frame the entire night.
By the end, Biden-leaning women were gushing over his smile, a black women agreed with everything he said, and an audience of mostly women applauded him at the conclusion.
Thank you, Savannah. This was a big night for Trump’s campaign and he couldn’t have done it without you!

Sorta like the megyn Kelly backfire in 2016

Tonight was a high risk/high reward endeavor.
He got the high reward.
He got the high reward.

He did great . I think he gets to defensive some time. The abortion question seem like one that could have been good for him. Maybe the research is telling him to stay away from abortion talk.

Agreed. Sometimes Trump can ramble a bit when he has softball questions. He’s more to the point when he has to be combative.

I think they may have told her something at one of the commercial breaks. She almost stopped the interrupting bullshite and calmed down a lot.

It’s about voter turnout. No one is changing their mind about abortion. But headlines quoting Trump about restricting women’s reproductive healthcare will get more women, anti-Trump women, to the polls on Election Day.

Women hate bitchy women more than anyone else.

Video of Biden getting questions from his townhall:

The abortion question was a complete set up. She asked him specifically what his personal view was, and when he said itd be inappropriate, she agreed it would.
So why ask? I know why.
So why ask? I know why.

The only thing I think could hurt him from tonight that they can run with is the "small peanuts" response he gave about him being under leveraged.
True statement, but they will take it out of context and use it as "Trump thinks 400 million is small peanuts, he is so out of touch."
Other than that, he knocked it out of the park.

"Can't hit a home run off a slow pitch"

She didn’t get any more nice, she got pressed for time and was trying to get all the questions in. That’s the only reason she quit interrupting him

Trump has said before he likes the hostile moderators. It proves the fake news is in the Dems pocket.

Truth. Women aren't swayed by a physical attraction to other women like men are, so they just cut to the chase.
Bitch was being a straight-up bitch.

If someone wants to be President and can’t handle an interview how can they handle negotiations with North Korea? Unfortunately Joe doesn’t get that.
