He started off with the white privilege apology tour, then she started asking questions.

You can see the light come on in the dude's head.

When she asked him if he thought it was a problem when white people think they have more privilege his friend made a face that said, “be careful, my man.”

this is a combination of being dumb and brainwashed while at the same time being terrified of being cancelled for one wrong word or phrase

you can see this dude literally thinking out every single word he is saying trying to not frick up and it’s sad and hilarious

we have destroyed critical thinking as a society

Very true. Back in the day parents were extremely proud that their kid was accepted to a college. Today the only requirement for college is a pulse.

So thoroughly feminized and conditioned to abandon truth and personal courage. Just say it bro.

You're right on.

I disagree though about the brainwashed part of it. He all but admitted he was initially saying what he thought she wanted to hear. He then backed off once he saw she wasn't trying to frick him up.

The kid's just trying to be savvy but in that savviness, he came off as gutless.

He'd have been way better off if he just answered her by saying "because i've been told to believe it and i don't know how to think for myself."

Which then leads into "how much of this 'white privilege' rhetoric is simply that combination of being dumb/brainwashed while also being terrified of being cancelled for one wrong word or phrase?"

And then... what's the most efficient method to get more people to simply say and act on what they truly feel?

They should realize that they aren't required to answer and just say "no comment."

I think the phrase "none of your business" is terribly underused today.

saw a “man on the street” compilation video a little while back that was hilarious. dude with a mic asking “this or that” to college students

“Coke or Pepsi”?
“Vodka or Tequila”?
“Boobs or Butt”?
“Personality or six pack”?

they all answered each one quickly and affirmatively … the he dropped the bomb

“black history month or gay history month?”

you can see the blood drain from the faces as they all stood there with eyes shuffling back and forth

interesting, one dude said “…both?” while all the others ended up saying “black history month” (which is funny and probably correct based on current SJW oppression olympics)

I think that touches on part of the problem. In our society we've gotten to a place where one thing we judge people on is their ability to answer quickly and concisely any question thrown their way. We no longer value long deliberation on something for a better reasoned response. In that, we have gone from a society valuing quantity over quality.

You know there is an anti-white male current running through the culture.

Why else would this kid feel like he immediately has to start apologizing for what he is?

That is another possible explanation.

He may have wanted to get laid and thought that was his best angle.

They would kill us if they had the power, a recent poll shows a majority of blacks say it's not even OK to be White.

Some black dude sneered at me that white people had enslaved every race on earth at one point or another.

I said, "So you're not special."

Then, walked away.

Walking around with the mantle of the oppressed is such a tired trope. It reeks of pathetic ambivalence. It does no good to wallow in self-pity. Go ahead. Carry that chip on your shoulder. I don't care.
