This according to a brand new Quinnipiac poll. Another interesting tidbit from the poll: two-thirds of Republicans do not believe Biden's win in 2020 to be legitimate.

They hope he doesn't run in 2024.

Just ask Cassidy.

I've had enough of that liberal. We need a small government conservative.

The other 34% and 15% aren't really republicans

You mean the same Trump that never fired Fauci, allowed governors to suspend CONSTITUTIONAL rights, and cared more about his own limelight than he did about the people?

I want him to run again for a lot of reasons.
I don’t because of his age and because I think Desantis is ready.

Buuuuuut, a Trump/Desantis ticket? Now I can get on board with that.

Still don’t make a frick if they just pull all the same bullshite again

Letting women vote was the beginning of the end.

2020 was more fricked by government overreach than any other in which I have lived my life. Trump was President 100% of 2020. You know what he did? He sat on his hands. Now, I would take him in a heartbeat over Biden/Harris but frick no, I don't want him again. His term was a massive failure and the only reason that you don't agree is because you have a stomach full of his semen.

I'd prefer he not run and remain as the spiritual leader of the party. If he runs again the scum will pull out all the stops and break every rule to defeat him again. Better to run DeSantis and continue the efforts to rid the party of the spineless and the rinos.

State governments overreached. The federal government never mandated anything. It merely made recommendations that the states either followed or didn't follow.

Your first point was correct, your second point assumes Trump was empowered to force governors to do what he wanted, your third point is an opinion.

So allowing the person, whom at the time was considered to be THE expert in his field, to do his job was a bad thing? I get that hindsight is 20/20, but your revisionist history is Democrat-like in terms of being disingenuous.

Additionally, allowing the state government to implement policy IS small government (at least in theory). The fact that Whitmer, Newsome, and Cuomo decided to channel Dr. Kevorkian is not on Trump, but rather, the voters in those states.

There’s some truth in what you say, but pre Covid, Trump had excellence on a scale we haven’t seen in at least 70 years. The Dems knew this, and without the challenge of a Pandemic, and changing the voting rules, and having to overcome 74,000,000; which no one had ever got, we’d be doing even better right now. Lower gas, lower inflation, no border crisis, and somewhat peace in the Middle East, with our enemies like China, on the run....so, I can see why all the sane people want Trump back....

Trump got beat by Biden, for whatever reasons you attribute that to.......if he couldn't beat Biden and barely beat Hillary I really, really, really want him to go away.

But I also want a Conservative. So I am biased.
