President Joe Biden tore into 'MAGA Republicans' and their 'extreme agenda' after a court ruled a program protecting millions of migrants from deportation is unlawful.

The setback for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) scheme - which shields more than 600,000 migrants known as 'dreamers' - means new applications will no longer be accepted in a blow to the Biden administration's liberal immigration policy.

'My Administration is committed to defending Dreamers against attacks from Republican officials in Texas and other States. This challenge to DACA is just another example of the extreme agenda being pushed by MAGA-Republican officials,' Biden said in a statement late Wednesday.

The White House is now considering legal challenges to revive the program that was started under President Obama and has been in legal limbo for years.

Biden said he would 'defend Dreamers against attacks from Republicans' and called the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals 'unlawful' for saying Obama didn't have the authority to put the plan in place.

'We are currently reviewing the court's decision and will work with the Department of Justice on an appropriate legal response,' Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said.

The 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals released its decision Wednesday directing a federal district judge in Texas to review the program.

The Biden administration issued a revision to DACA in August that is preventing the deportation of hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants brought into the U.S. as children.

But the new court ruling requires a lower court to review those revisions – and barred new applicants from applying to the program.

Remember when Trump asked Congress to pass a statutory DACA program, so this wouldnt be an issue?

It is one of only a hand full of times in my life when the Executive tried to place lawmaking power back into the legislative branch where it belongs.

But Biden can't have that. If he didnt govern by executive fiat, he wouldnt govern at all.

Their continued use of MAGA is solely meant to distract from its actual meaning.

Someone please explain to us how wanting to maintain national sovereignty is an “extreme agenda” and actions to ensure such are “attacks” because the left has rebranded illegal immigrants as “dreamers.”

Their willful dishonesty is out of control.

This is not an issue for the executive or judicial branch of the federal government to figure out. This is a legislative branch function. The reason why we have gotten to this point is the legislative branch is too scared to take action on this issue.

Even Obama knew that he couldn't do this through by Executive Order and tried this memorandum crap.
