This demonization shite is probably politically effective but unnecessary

Not sure why to bring 9/11 into it. 63k doesn’t need a comparison. That’s entirely too many people dead to illegals in this country.

Truth is not demonization.....
If this is, in fact, true...it is a foundation worth building a wall on.

63,000 over the course of 17 years comes about to ten deaths a day across a population pool of 320 million people. And I guarantee that number includes things like traffic fatalities involving illegals. So basically, the chance of you dying in event involving an illegal alien, violent or not, is .00000003% per day.

There are great reasons for supporting massive immigration reform. Fear of death is not one of them.

Say that to the American families that have had loved ones killed at the hand of illegals.

If we don’t get a handle on gun violence, we will all be killed.

(Number seems fantastically high considering that there were only about 15,000 murders in the US in 2016.)

Comparing a statistic that very likely includes traffic accidents to an Islamic terror attack is demonization.

We have borders and laws. Enforce them. That's it. I don't need to paint millions with the crimes/negligence of a tiny fraction of those.

We should never be afraid to tell the truth because of emotional reaction.

Sure.

I mean, you are basically admitting that I'm right. Of course the families of people killed in one manner or another by an illegal alien are going to have significant emotional responses to the issue.

It's perfectly normal and expected. But it should not be the justification for policy.

It clearly includes non-violent accidents involving illegals.

One death to an illegal is one too many.

We now have you on record stating Americans lives are worth less than admitting an illegal alien into our nation.

Thanks for being honest about being treasonous and about being a traitor.

Do you agree with this logic in the gun control debate? Is one gun death of a child too many?

Well, I never said anything remotely close to that and your interpretation of my post speaks volumes about your inability to debate merits.

Ok, sure thing, Sean Hannity!

ETA: For the record, I support massive immigration reform and sealing up the flow over our Southern border. The statistics simply don't make fear of being killed by an illegal a significant issue why.

if 63,000 Americans have died "at the hands of illegals" in the United States, then what you are saying is that illegals are responsible for more than half of all murders and non-negligent death in America. That is completely false. Sorry, it is.

FBI data for the entire United States ( FBI crime statistics) show an average of about 15,000 murders and non-negligent deaths per year for the entire country. Your stat would mean that illegals have committed so many murders that they account for every murder in the entire United States for 8 years.

bullshite.

Well that excuse can be used for practically anything can it not? I think of it as an appeal to injustice.
