2nd source has now confirmed to me that, in a meeting on January 10, Deputy A-G Rosenstein used the power of his office to threaten to subpoena the calls & texts of the Intel Committee to get it to stop it’s investigation of DOJ and FBI. Likely an Abuse of Power & Obstruction.

Not surprised, the level of corruption and abuse of power in our government now is frightening. I just hope the truth continues to come out and we can prosecute these criminals.

Considering congress is given the explicit power to provide oversight of the FBI, this seems like an egregious attempt at obstruction

However, I doubt it is true

Ouch.

And when you consider that congress has oversight of the FBI it is like an employee telling their boss what the boss is going to do and not do.

Incredible.

Sounds like it’s time for another Special Council except this case won’t be built on manufactured political research. This will be built on cold hard facts and evidence.

Unelected agencies becoming more powerful than elected politicians in charge of their oversight is never a good path

Rod should write a killer piece on why he is quitting over the abuse his beloved agency is taking.

Like Nunes said, "When you're over the target you get a lot of flack".

after all of the democrat sponsored frickery going on over the past years, why would anyone doubt this? who knows if its true, it would seem to be consistent with current frickery, if it is true, it sounds a little bit like obstruction of justice...

I have a hard time believing this. The only thing bigger than the ego of an SES employee is the ego of a congressman. No way he'd still have a job.

Sessions may have also sealed his fate with the Rosenstein endorsement yesterday. Gowdy resignation could make way for him to be the next AG.

This is not surprising. It was said he kept Nunes out of a meeting and begged Speaker Ryan to not release the FISA memo.

He continued running the FISA warrants when he knew the dossier was fake. If Rosenstein is not removed it will never be cleaned up. The Fox can't guard the hen house. Too many conflicts of interest as it is with Mueller and Comey.

I believe that Gregg Jarrett would not put this out if he wasn't convinced it's true. He's real.
