You think NASA is unable to adjust for those differences, or do you just outright think they are liars?
They don't have to adjust anything.
The +/- 0.5 C tolerance just means the thermometer will read within +/- 0.5C of 0 if you put it in a water/ice bath (at standard pressure bla bla).
It doesn't mean the thermometer reads 0.5 C to warm one day and 0.5 too cold the next.

I never said it was settled. I just said in SELA this may was not as hot as the past several years. I am skeptical of this data for many reason.

Then you don't know how to read a graph. Look closely, Dr. Physics. From the low line (light yellow) on the graph around 850-900 AD to its high point around 1,000-1,050 AD there is an approximate 1 degree increase.
The light yellow line includes uncertainties.

Sort of like looking at one month in 2014 being the warmest in 150 years, and declaring AGW to be unassailable fact.

You're actually suggesting that measurement uncertainty is equivalent to variability in the real variable being measured.
You know better.

Why did you edit out your entire second paragraph? Did you realize you disproved your own argument by posting it?

why does the uncertainty disappear in the modern era? I know it isn't as bad but there is uncertainty.
you mentioned a .5 certainty, so for it to be statistically significant change than it must be a pretty big change, if the uncertainty overlaps on different points of the graph the change isn't significant.
that means according to this graph (which is different, and the uncertainty is different) over the past 14 years there has been no significant change in tempature.

I thought it was great.
What boggles the mind is when we have ice, snow, and blizzards for weeks on end they tell you to ignore all that because climate is measured over time, and not over events; however, they come out of the bushes yelling and screaming to tell us that a month was hot.
It's a trip.
Oh and they had we are seeing more CO2 than at any time in centuries, but they acknowledge there was more CO2 way back when. So what does all this mean?
It has all happened before and it will happen again.
Human civilization will have to adapt as it has adapted for decades. Nothing is static. Sea level, climate, and even the continents change location.
Those that try to tell you they can keep things exactly the way they are right now are fools or smart people after your wallets.
You decide.

But, if companies are give tax break/credits for reducing carbon emmisions why would they need to cut jobs?
You don't actually understand what cap & trade is, do you?
Under cap and trade, companies don't receive money from big government to reduce their emissions. They receive money from other players in the market buying their unused allowances at market price.
You should look into cap & trade. Reagan liked it for lead fuels.

It was 91° degrees here yesterday. It's been in the upper 80's to low 90°s all month. 40 yrs ago on this date ,it was 91°. We had three snow and ice storms this winter, 40 yrs ago we had two. I'm really not experiencing what your projecting. If this warning data is somehow true, maybe it will be beneficial to feeding a growing global population, and halt the yankee migration to the deep south states.

The government sets the quote on emissions. It's NOT a market based system but a government controlled allocation of credits.

I'm holding out hope that we will wake up one day and stop allowing ourselves to be manipulated by people that think we're stupid. Maybe we'll elect a president that will be like Spears in Band of Brothers running in to relieve Dike.

i'm just saying, it means nothing. what is the rate of increase? what is the population now v. the year circa 797,984BC?
what year was it (your 400ppm stat) at 399.99999?
just a dumb thing to single out to quote. i'm sure you have a piechartgraphhole for us.
