How many were following ten_gop?

It pisses me off to read these tweets. You can clearly see the Russians MO. Create doubt, hatred and division.

The Russians goal, as stated by the IC report that is the basis for claiming Russia is a threat, is to plant seeds of doubt in Americans faith in the electoral process. The Dems actions since Election Day have done more to hand Russia their stated goal than anything Trump has done.

One of the tweets was just a link to a video of a black Trump supporter.

Youtube has plenty of those videos.

This is quite ridiculous.

If anyone can find an especially "swaying" tweet, do share it.

Why is everyone so defensive about this? Russians poking their nose in our business pisses me off and it should every American. Open the Google docs of the top 10 bots. It shows retweets and likes.

This is just Twitter. Facebook probably had at least as much activity. Well targeted at specific audiences. Just as if someone was coaching the Russians on what to aim for.

quote:

NBC News is publishing its database of more than 200,000 tweets that Twitter has tied to "malicious activity" from Russia-linked accounts during the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

These accounts, working in concert as part of large networks, pushed hundreds of thousands of inflammatory tweets, from fictitious tales of Democrats practicing witchcraft to hardline posts from users masquerading as Black Lives Matter activists. Investigators have traced the accounts to a Kremlin-linked propaganda outfit founded in 2013 known as the Internet Research Association (IRA). The organization has been assessed by the U.S. Intelligence Community to be part of a Russian state-run effort to influence the outcome of the 2016 U.S. presidential race. And they're not done.

Those last four words are the most frightening. And it appears the administration is doing nothing at all to stem the tide.

(Trump appointed) US Intelligence heads testified before Congress just this week about the Russian attacks on the 2018 elections.

It's funny how silent the white house is on this.

Funny... but not "ha ha" funny.

I never said any one on this site was influenced by this, but to think no one was, is ignorant.

I think it's funny that all of this hubbub is over Russian bots supposedly sending fake tweets or messages on facebook and creating fake news. If fake news is really the problem, the MSM needs to take a close look in the mirror.

It's fricking social media idiot. What the frick are we supposed to do about other countries posting on social media?

No wonder you stupid frickers have been riding North Korea's jock because that's about the only way you're going to prevent that problem.
