Lots of statistics that we have been force fed are made up.

Always good to be aware.

Leftists love them some made-up stats.
There used to be this "homeless activist" named Mitch something or other, and he put out that X number of homeless died every day in America.

The media ran with that, and old Mitch developed quite a following. Then, I believe, Rush Limbaugh pointed that would mean that Y million homeless were dying every year, and that number was bullshite.
Mitch faded away after that, and eventually killed himself.

It is like the percentage of population that is gay…. They make up numbers to try to convince everyone there are more than there actually are…

I don’t know. Years ago they use to say 6%, then they started bumping that to 11%. Me and a co-worker thought that was bullshite. That would mean that in our engineering group of 55 people we’d have about six gay ones. So we started pointing out each person and classifying them as straight, gay, or maybe. We were running at about a 50% clip before we gave it up. It was like, Him? Definitely!

I could have told you it was a lie. That would be almost 1 in 50 people. That isn't an anomaly, it's just not common. For something that is 1 in 50 people, everybody knows someone with that trait. And It would be known too because it wouldn't be something that one would want or need to hide if it were that common, it would just be what it is.

1.7% doesn't seem that terribly high to me.

How many people were in your high school class?

If it was around 200 you had 3 intersex people in your class and 12 in the school.

My class was around 200 and I had 0 and 0 intersex people in my class and school

I could've guessed that. I'm a pediatrician with 27 years of clinical experience (have treated thousands upon thousands of children) and I've seen exactly ONE patient with mixed chromosomes (some cells are XO which is consistent with Turner's Syndrome Female, and some are XY which is consistent with male) and TWO patients with ambiguous genitalia (difficult to tell just upon exam if the external genitals are male or female), though these patients had definitive sex determination by chromosome testing.

It's lies like this that make it hard for people to trust science and medicine anymore, even some of us physicians.

As a teacher, I can tell you that those numbers will rise. Kids are being mind-fricked these days, especially females.

That translates to almost six million people. If you, personally, know 200 people, at least 3 are intersex, statistically.

I could be wrong but I don’t think this is a choice like trans. According to Google:
quote:

People who are intersex have genitals, chromosomes or reproductive organs that don't fit into a male/female sex binary. Their genitals might not match their reproductive organs, or they may have traits of both. Being intersex may be evident at birth, childhood, later in adulthood or never.

^ making the 1.7% claim even more ridiculous

This whole thing goes back to the way gay couples operate. One is more masculine and one is more feminine. It may not be obvious in college or workplace but that's how it is in gay bars at night.
The problem is everyday appearance. The more masculine gay man doesn't have to change his appearance. His 'girlfriend' does. This makes the feminine gay pissed off. He wants to be accepted the way his boyfriend is all day long. Solution? Trans!
