He says evidence is showing 302s were changed to either prosecute or not prosecute individuals, and Horowitz acknowledges and says they’re working on those issues... also Meadows seems to out the “Agent 2 and Agent 1” the FBI didn’t want disclosed

The disposition of this investigation and related aspects is a turning point in the republic, we will return to law and order or become a banana republic.

Here is the response. "We know that 302s were changed but without seeing the original 302s we can't prove any wrongdoing. FBI will do 302 training so this doesn't happen again"

F'ingBI.

If I were a defense attorney in ANY federal case involving the F'ingBI I would hammer this changing 302's, and the other history of bogus lab testing, and lying agents, and politically motivated agents acting unethically, in EVERY case.

Motion after motion to throw out the F'ingBI evidence and testimony for lack of credibility.

I agree. This TRULY is an existential threat. I have ZERO faith in the FBI at the moment. I hope it can be restored.

And the sad part is this isn’t the only thing tarnishing the FBI brand... their failure with the Parkland shooter, Pulse, NYC car terrorist and others where they had intelligence of them being a threat and did nothing

At some point you have to wonder if our FBI’s practice of altering 302’s, incompetence in handling real threats of violence, and conducting highly slanted investigations will hurt their credibility in the American court system.

How can you not bring up the 302s ifnyou are a defense attorney in a case involving the FBI?

The very idea that in 2018 we STILL rely on an interviewer's written notes of a questioning is buffoonery.

We demand cops have body cams but the FBI should just "take notes"?

frickery

Seriously, it is crazy. Used to the FBI recorded interrogations. Now the only documented evidence is whatever the FBI agent decided to write down in a 302. How anyone can be convicted of anything and how convictions aren’t getting overturned left and right with such non-evidence is a mystery.

This is a bigger problem than just what they are doing with Trump. We should actually be extremely worried about this.

The FBI actually is supposed to go after organized crime and terrorists. If their credibility is shot, they have no teeth. Every defense attorney worth a damn can question the credibility of information provided in 302s.

This is a huge threat to our country in ways that extends way beyond the current crusade against anyone that ever shook Trump’s hand.

Imagine this: If the FBI in 2018 were represented when HBO’s The Sopranos was filmed, it would be an incredibly boring show. None of the wise guys would turn state witness knowing that the evidence used in their case is easily questioned in court. If the documentation provided in their 302s are being altered and doctored, a lot of cases are going to start being challenged on that point.

On one hand our country needs the FBI to be a credible organization. On the other, there is clearly an issue and the bureau shows no signs of trying to correct it in good faith.

The Obama admin may have really fricked over a lot of Americans for a long time by politicizing the Bureau. I honestly don’t think Wray is the guy to fix this regardless of what Trump thinks about him. Nothing short of decades of honesty and integrity can fix this.

This is why we need to fire every last one of the current 35,000 employees and start from scratch.

And when Congressional oversight inquiries are ignored, immediate expulsion from office and prison should be in order.

We (American Citizens) are Congress, the FBI [should] works for us. It is insubordinate and criminal for the FBI to lie/ignore us.
