How much longer do they give him? He hasn't produced shite in a long time. They had that miracle semi-final run a few years ago, but that's about it. No state championships in almost 30 years of coaching an ALL-BOYS school.

I get the feeling the alumni and boosters are starting to get sick of losing, and an 0-3 start doesn't help matters. They have plenty of talent, but as their game against Denham Springs last week indicates, the coaching and playcalling is complete shite right now.

Exactly. There is no excuse not to win a lot of these games. From what I understand, the freshman and JV teams never lose a game, then miraculously they can't win a game when they reach varsity.

Especially considering how much recruiting and under-the-table shite they do.

Didn't they lose to Zachary in week 1 bc they had too many players on the field on the last play?

Hardly a miracle. That team was stacked with talent.

He has always had terrible play calling. I don't know if CHS will fire him. He will have to resign.

I'm not sure, to be honest. Wouldn't surprise me.

Apparently not a single coach caught the fact that Denham has 12 defenders on the field last week until after the game.

Zachary was a VERY winnable game, though. Mandeville was questionable, and Denham should've been stomped.

Yep.

Same for their track team, but at least track wins everything they compete in. Hell, Boudreaux could win with a team full of GCSs.

CHS had their moment. They sucked in football until desegregation sucked the life out of the public high schools. After this, they were the only known private school in a decent area of town and the white boys flocked to them and they could get the black kids they wanted, To many options now. Other private schools have opened, people moved out of BR to get to the other public school districts. Back to sucking now for CHS

I, too, doubt CHS will fire him, but I've been wondering the alumni/booster pressure will become too great for them to resist.

I believe that's how they got Achord in there, is by withholding the donations until they got a new baseball coach.

Money talks.

The talent is still there, it hasn't left. Catholic can still get many of the kids they want.

Probably. Basketball may have never won one. Those white boys usually suck anyway.

pretty much, we've come close a few time when I was there. Losing to WM, and evangel both times, and honestly we didn't stand a chance against them. North LA schools kicks Catholic's arse every time. I still cant believe we lost when they had warrick dunn, and then travis minor. The best shot we had was a few years ago when ryan lewis was QB, and weiner blew it against acadiana

No doubt. Many teams will put up big numbers against CHS this year.

Here's the rest of their schedule for this year:

Central
Parkview
Woodlawn
McKinley
East Ascension
St. Amant
Dutchtown

I only see 2 games that SHOULD be guaranteed wins for CHS...
