Worst tree to have on your property...

Obviously, the chicken/tallow tree is THE worst but after that?
The sweet gum IMO is the shittiest tree there is. It drops those damn spiked land mines all over your yard and the tops rot and fall all the time.
Ranting here, I have 11 in my yard and the lowest quote I've gotten to have them removed is around $4k

I have grown to really hate my pecan trees. They shed limbs constantly, and in the fall, they drop goddamn pecans all over my truck.

yea old pecan trees are always losing branches. We have a couple on the farm. Makes for easy fire wood though.

Yeah Chicken/Tallow, I call them popcorn trees, but they are the worst. They grow FAST. Then the sweet gum is a close second. I have one in my yard and it has Electrical and phone lines running through it. There is not one direction it could fall without taking out phones and power.

I hate a River Birch as well. Always shedding limbs and leaves.

A little CSB but I know some guys and one of them bought a bunch of propert in the northwest. People up there buy "Japanese Tallows" in pots for decoration. They all decided to dig some up and take them back up north to sell to the nurseries.
Two of the guys took a few extra and planted on other dudes' hunting land. That was like 10 years ago and of course his land is overrun.

Chinese chestnut, locust and what ever tree Bradford pear uses as root stock.

Italian Cypress. They grow knees all through a yard.

When I lived in Louisiana: Tallow. Bitch to clean up a fence line...SOBs grew like wildfire.
Up here in N. Alabama where they don't have Tallows....Take your pick: Sweet gum (rot from the inside out)....or Bradford Pear. Why the pear? Bitches can't handle a T-storm wind. Weak limb structure and they're always breaking off at major junctions. I have no idea why subdivisions like that tree. Give me an old-fashioned oak anyday.
