Need to replace about 60 feet of fence at a rental property near LSU. The whole thing is about to fall down and needs to be completely replaced.

TIA ...

Jeff at Ascension Fence and Deck. He may not be you're cheapest quote but worth it.

Thanks. Any idea of approximate cost per linear foot installed?

Hire someone else to build the gates if one is needed, I just fixed some of their hack work because they refused to fix it themselves.

Any recommendations? I would expect the framing on the gate to be metal.

If that's what you spec. They used metal for frames and the hinge side post. They used regular 4x4 posts for the latch side and the gates couldn't be closed 2 weeks after finishing. Wood posts do warp and it looked like they used a dull sawzall to cut the trim pieces at the top and the ends of the runners. Cuts were crooked and fouled on each other when the gates settled.
