Who has a H&K VP9 and do you carry it?

How do you carry? IWB or OWB?
Looking at some holsters for one and trying to decide.

If you carry a 19 without issue, you will carry the VP9 without issue.

I have one. Don’t carry it but have IWB holster that fits and feels fine.

I have Alien Gear Cloak Tuck IWB and Alien Gear Cloak Side OWB. Wear the OWB when in the woods/duck hunting.

I carry a sig 229 when I dont have to tuck my shirt in. I had a galco king tuck and didnt like it. Bought an alien gear cloak iwb and I love it. I can carry it easily all day. Bought the same holster for my shield and I can tuck my shirt in with it.

My wife has a VP9 but doesn’t carry it. Overall it’s an excellent firearm even though I think the PPQ (its direct competitor) has a better trigger
I will say dimensionally the 15 round mag is a bit misleading. The grip is actually slightly longer than my 15 round M&P, but not by much. I think it’s because the grip is pretty thin.

I carry a VP9 in a Crossbreed Supertuck or T & T Gunleather IWB. Also use a T & T Gunleather IWB or Crossbreed OWB for my G19.

I carried a VP9 sometimes on duty. Used a safariland retention holster. As Carson said, not much different than a 19.

I have a VP9 and a Shield 9. I'm a skinny bastard at under 150# at 6' and wear business causal(slim fit typically) and cannot find anything to carry concealed without printing like a MF.

Appendix carry is probably your best bet with that build.

I guess I should have said it's usually between me & the console in my truck, unholstered unless walking thru the woods. I bought an early version of the VP9 & there weren't many options at the time. First purchased a Bladetech Eclpse, but didn't rcare for it comfort wise for IWB or OWB.
I can see the reason for not liking the Serpa for its retention design from a tactilcal viewpoint. Im guessing that's what you were saying?
