For all members and lurkers alike:

South Louisiana is by far the best place to hunt and fish. The deer are small in North Louisiana and the miagratory waterfowl skip the Northern part of the state and head straight to the marshs and rice of South LA.

As for fish it is definitely better in S. LA. because thats the only place that has saltwater and the freshwater of N. LA. has high mercury content.

And if anybody is thinking of moving to Mississippi be sure to stay below natchez if you want to improve your chances of killing big bucks and greenheaded ducks!

I know your being sarcastic, but just for the sake of arguin with any of the whistle dicks. I got kin in yazoo city, ms and they put the hammer on both deer and ducks year in and year out.

He meant north of Concordia, y'all. If anyone wants ducks, just head up around Vicksburg

HAHA, Yall listen to this guy and you will be disappointed. The only ducks up that way are at a zoo/park. With a loaf of bread you can kill the hell out of them.

Granted they don't really kill big deer, not because they aren't there, because they literally live off the land and kill for meat. They won't go to the grocery store if they don't have to.

I realize that but I was just making sure the lurkers where well informed. Plus, where I am we really do not pay attention to state lines. You can hunt either state as long as you have a liscense in one or the other.

With some capital and the right marketing one could push "Farm Life" to pass "salt life" like it wss sitting still.
