Saw an ad for a Canik TP9 Elite Combat and it looks pretty slick.

Never shot one but it looks sharp. I saw where you can get one with the Vortex optic for around $700.
ETA: I like that flat trigger too

I've shot one. Seemed to shoot good for me. Felt a lot like my XD in the hands.
Buddy of mine bought one in 9mm(no clue on model) and he loves it. No complaints

Bowies has a few, even if you don't want to buy from them go put your hands on one first

Near impossible to beat for the money. Be careful dry firing though because there have been reports of the firing pins snapping because they do not tolerate dry firing well.

Love my Elite. Smooth trigger and no complaints.

I own a TP9SFx and owned/sold a TP9SF.
They're amazing guns for the price. Ergonomics are great. Fit & finish are great (on the matte black models). I've seen the FDE finished ones can easily get scratched though. Trigger is phenomenal for the price. Chews any ammo you want to put thru it with no issues. Only reason I sold my TP9SF was I was a bit hard up for money and also had its big brother, the TP9SFx and have a Vortex Venom mounted on it.
Got it from Gunprime.com in May for $459. Got the red-dot at a gun show for a flat $200.
