Good Luck brother. There is a thread on this board that mentions catching Pompano and Whiting from Alabama to Florida areas.

I am gearing up for early Dove and Teal Season here. I know if you are going by boat, the close rigs in LA are producing Specks, Spanish and Tripletail here in SW LA. Not sure what near offshore structure is in your area. Good luck in the Deer Stand this year too.

I've heard of Ling and Cobia, but Lemonfish is a first. In what region is that the dominant name?

You must be Jackson county area. Seems like more people say ling over that way. You call a tripletail a blackfish?
