What does everyone use as their luggage during hunting season?

For those 1-2 week trips down to the duck camp? I've been using a couple of the large cabelas brand duffel bags but I feel like there is something better out there. I'm tired of cramming 4 hunting jackets, thick pants, bibs, etc...into a couple of bags.

I got a couple of the Rtic large duffel bags. Pretty nice, throw them in the back of the truck, shite stays dry when I drive through rain.

I use a North Face Rolling Thunder. Carried it all over the US and to 4 different countries and it has held up fine.
But then again I do not carry 4 hunting jackets at a time. Those vacuum bags help a lot to compress items down to maximize space. Especially on jackets and pants with down in them. You can compress that stuff down to the thickness of a notebook.

I'd go with something like this, I bought a large Carhartt backpack to take on day-long fishing trips a few years back and it's held up extremely well. Thing was big enough to hold two tackle boxes and keep extra waters/snacks/clothes in so I'm sure the duffel bags would do well for you. (LINK ]

This in the back of my truck:
Home Depot
Or this, which is waterproof and can also go in the back. It's HUGE though and damn near have to fill it up after it's in the truck. I've got the Magnum size and it's a bit much most of the time:

First choice is Duluth Pack canvas stuff. It's like Filson but no New York City bullshite. Second is Frost River, which is similar stuff built across town but mostly waxed canvas. I avoid Duluth Trading as it's more foreign made stuff and has a healthy dose of marketing bs.
Also perfectly fits a case of 12ga ammo in the bottom and will handle the weight for years.

Why not leave your stuff there? I have a large closet at my duck camp full of more camo than I could ever wear so I just go back and forth with a small bag. When I go to ark take a medium duffel. Both places I go has laundry facilities etc so don’t have to bring a ton.

I have a small Filson bag for a night or two and a larger duffle for more gear. I only carry one heavy jacket so it stays loose and doesn’t take up room in my bag

I have the small yeti duffel and use it 365 days a year. Stays dry in the bed of the truck, ranger, in the boat, at the beach, etc. It also fits perfectly as a carry on bag. 10/10 would recommend

Started using tough boxes last year. They stack great, stay dry and hold a lot of shite.

I use the Tough Boxes like above or these Sterelite Foot Lockers, because the have better latches and I don’t have to worry about the top blowing off in the river.

Yeah this is the real answer. I have a camp in Michigan about two hours around the lake from Chicago. I travel with a briefcase and a small carryon in case I need to make a few stops en-route to visit customers. The camp has any clothes I need.

Personally, I will hunt 3-4 different places (some several times) each season and it's too far to go pick up something to use elsewhere. I leave an extra pair of boots and waders there, but bring most everything else home each time.
