I know Tony through a friend. He is a good dude but he is going to end up on the wrong side on this one if what I heard is correct.

Sounds like alcohol was involved. They were pleasure boating on the Mississippi?

I'm not going to get into rumors. I know he got pretty messed up. They had to reattach one of his ears and he has several fractured vertebrae along with a head injury.

Friend of a friend knows him injuries sound pretty bad. Lucky to be alive.

WFPSO Deputies and Wildlife and Fisheries Agents recovered a body Thursday afternoon that is believed to be the missing boater from a boat crash that occurred Sunday night.
At approximately 3:00pm a volunteer search party located the body near Fancy Point Towhead, an island in the Mississippi River at the southern tip of West Feliciana Parish. This location is approximately 14 miles downriver from where the boat crash occurred.
The deceased was turned over to the West Feliciana Coroner's Office.
"We're extremely grateful to all the agencies, groups and volunteers who assisted in helping bring closure to the family" said Sheriff Brian Spillman. "We continue to keep them in our prayers and hope that this recovery can give them some peace that Rachal can now be returned to them.
The La. Department of Wildlife and Fisheries-Division of Law Enforcement is leading the investigation into the boat crash.
