Weekend Results Thread?

After the first weekend of gun season in several parts, I thought we'd see a big Results Thread.
Highlight of my weekend was getting the cold wetass watching Menard/Bunkie football in the rain Friday night.
I did hunt both days, and only saw 3 does and a small buck, none of which got shot. It was probably one of the finest opening weekends I can remember (weather wise).
Come on baws, let's see what you got.

Dominated the pee wee football championship Saturday. Hunted with kids yesterday. Didn't see jack yesterday morning. Daughter bricked on a 6pt last night.

Doe Saturday and 6 other yesterday in Vernon parish. Gonna chill a bit and fish next weekend then try to put mrs cheramie and lil Ron on one if he can sit still more than 30 minutrs

Saw a coon and a coyote.
Coyote came out at sunrise Saturday morning and since it was opening day, I didn't want to spray down my spot with coyote blood and death. Let him walk.
Didn't see any deer, probably as a result of the coyote. Should have shot him.

Got to hunt on Davis Island this weekend. Traded some work for a few hunts. Didn't see any deer that I could shoot but saw ton's of deer and many that would have been my biggest bow kill

I killed a spike and my brother got a doe yesterday on our property in Simsboro.
When we dropped his deer off at Dowlings Deer Processing yesterday, they said it was the busiest weekend they’ve ever seen in 20 something years in business. He said 264 deer were dropped off Saturday. I guess that cold weather had the deer really moving.

Braved the wind and cold Saturday morning in the yak. A couple decent ones in the 12-13" range, and a few more that will taste decent.
Crappie Bites by Magic Bait work pretty well. This is probably the biggest crappie I've ever caught.
Took the bird out for her first hunt Sat afternoon.

He went 205 on the scale. Biggest body deer I have ever killed.
Before the hate I killed it with my 6.5 Grendel and not a crossbow.
My box stand had no heater
and I have a legal LA hunting license.
