Weekend Results 1/20 - 1/22

guess everybody is not as mad at anything like they were before the start of the season...
Went to the swamp Saturday to run the boat and throw a couple of lures...ended up with a couple of bass...2 good sized females that were full of eggs...they are close...all released...
barbecue and football today...
probably make one more duck hunt before I call it and look to get into a few rabbit hunts...
then go back to fishing n golf...

Sat- Phone went out Friday so I was at AT+T @ 9. Hopefully it's fixed.
Sun- Tore the inside cab panels out of the truck in search of a leak, found it.

Sat-3 man duck limit in NWLA
Today-6 birds between three of us in the same spot. Not sure if the weather last night messed them up or what. Not an ideal way to end the season, but we killed a bunch of birds this year so I'm not too upset.

Went down to the ranch to shoot does. We only ended up with 8, we saw a ton of everything except does it felt like.
Ended up with 3 of these little guys and a coyote the first night.

me and a buddy caught/released 16 bass yesterday on suspending jerkbaits. had four over four pounds.

First we got on the biggest sacs I've ever seen. Longest was 16.5".
Then we went and caught a nice mess of frogs

2 dinks in Henderson Saturday morning. Mainly went to run my boat. That was a success. Fishing, not so much.

Just a helluva weekend and an awesome way to close out the season. Fellow OB'er gorillacoco came up from BR to chase birds with me and I think he left satisfied.

Never heard of catching frogs in January but I'm a North La boy.

We do it all duck season in the marsh when temps allow it. I could have caught 15-20 paddling to hole this am.

It hasn't been below 60 degrees in 2 weeks. They are out everywhere. Had buddies that stayed out all night and caught 200+.
