What weed is this, and what kills it safely in centipede grass?

Poa annua, A.K.A. Annual bluegrass

I put down atrazine about 3 weeks ago and it's just now slowly dying off. Atrazine should be safe for centipede.

I have a ton of it, sprayed 2 4 d on the broadleaf stuff hoping it'd take it out in the process.

Best way to control it is with a pre-emergent in the fall.

It is also a winter weed and will die once it gets hot.

And when it does it will leave at shite load of seeds in the soil. Atrazine killed it in my front yard. My back yard is still a battle.

My quick search showed this is a liquid. I assumed a pre-emergent would have been in granular form. If not, do you just spray your entire lawn with the liquid pre-emergent?

I've used this for my pre/post emergent of your grassy weeds. But if you already have the weed growing then you need something like Atrazine as mentioned by another poster. That will take a couple weeks to show signs of dying

and if it is to the point of seeding atrazine will kill it and it will leave a shite ton of seeds in the soil.

That is where pre-emergent comes in.
