I have a few friends and family that have neighborhood ponds. I do pretty well in them in my kayak and have yet to get run out of one yet.

I had hit a barpit today. Best top water action to date. Ended up with 7 very nice bass anywere from 2.5 to just under 5lbs. Lost way to many today. All those fish were cut loose into my pond. I'm still waiting on the shinner guy to drop me off 10,000 shinners for my pond. Fish are getting very hungry in it. I can cast a jig under a cork and within 2 seconds, I have a fish on.

Thinking of making a trip to Grand Isle this weekend. Now that all depends on what my docrors tell me WTF is going wrong now.

Have you heard of anyone catching them around cat recently, I heard it was hit or miss. I will be out there bouncing between cat, the marsh and chandaler all weekend.

I caught a few around cat two weeks ago, but heard flat boat and surronding area has been hot when you can keep all the other baots from getting on top of you.

No, the water is on a rise again. I take that back. I was there Sunday at the camp boiling mudbugs and beer. No fishing.

Can I come fish your pond? Seems like you drop a lot of big uns in there.

How high is the river supposed to rise? I heard 8' in BR, but I don't know if it'll rise that much.

NO! At this point, I'm still restocking it. I had itn dug out twice the size it was before. My pond is a little over 2 ac now. I'm thinking about having it dug even bigger now.
