Water levels in east central LA
With all this rain and high river levels, what are the water levels like around the confluence area? Red River wma, grassy lake, 3 rivers, Dewey, etc. is backwater up and out of control?

Wondering if any of the roads in that area are navigable... by truck, not boat.

Water is over the control structure at the diversion canal. I don't know much more than that.

They closed the Muddy Bayou Rd. and Hunt Oil Road in Saline last week. You can still hunt on the north side of the diversion canal, but flooded south of the canal. Can launch at Woodson's Landing if you want though.

Larto and Catahoula lake are the only lakes open to boat traffic in Catahoula parish right now because the water is so high in all the other area lakes. Lake Louie in Sicily Island is flooded out onto the road adjacent to it on its northeast side.

our spot north east of catahoula should be between 16" and 30"...right now it is 11' deep... so deep even divers are avoiding it

The Catahoula season was over before it started!

I was on catahoula and the LA Delta plantation for 4 days last week. Water is god awful high. We still had a few good hunts. I’m going back next Thursday for 3 days to give it one more go.
