Thoughts on it, I just picked up a axis II 30-06 looking for a good optic that won't cost an arm and a leg but want a decent scope.

I have one on my muzzle loader. It’s ok but not bright at dusk. I just bought a Redfield 2-7 for my 3030. It was 175 on Amazon last week..

Complete pos. I had one and when shot the entire inside turned black, they sent another one and same thing happened when my daughter shot at a buck. They sent a third one And upgraded it to the diamondback series but it’s sitting in the closet. With that being said their customer service was very good.

Spend as much money as you can on a scope! You’re welcome!

Check your local wal mart for nikons. Given you bought that rifle... Me thinks you know where to look.

Having said that, the axis 2 I sold was more accurate than I am.

I would look at the diamond back series instead. That is what I have on both my Savage 11-111 series rifle and my AR-10. Both have performed great with no issues. They also work well during dusk/diminishing light conditions. Both of mine are a 3-9x40 model.

OpticsPlanet has them for $199 before shipping right now.

Don't explain yourself to that prick. Few things on this Earth are as annoying as a gun snob. And anyone who freely uses the phrase "me thinks" probably sucks dick by choice.
