Looking for help on which landings are open in the Lake Verret area. I have heard Bayou Corne is still good. I have a tournament down there this weekend and trying to come up with a plan where I won’t have to run too far, too slow. I don’t think the water is going to drop dramatically between now and Saturday.

If you want to fish Crackerhead north of lake verret put in at Corne

If you want to fish cheramie around Grassy lake i'd put in at Doirons. Pretty sure the launch is still open

RAMP CLOSINGS In case you have not heard due to extremely high water in the area Some ramps have closed. Dioron's, Jack miller. Road closures are also in affect. North Bay is closed dues to high water(Guadets). Road between Bayou Pigeon and Belle River is Closed. Hwy 70 between Belle River and Stephenville has about a 1/2 mile stretch under water. Bayside is open. You can't pass under the bridge to go north to bay Natchez. The ramp at the Spunky Monkey is open also. Just remember that NO WAKE is in affect/ Please use extreme caution when boating.

My bad

I know the guy (his daughter) that bought it, and don’t think they really know what they’re doing with it, but one of my coworkers said he launched there the other day. I could be mistaken. We were talking about the lake and he said he launched at to go run his cans on the north side because bayou corne was full up.

My wife has family that live down the lake road and they’re under water. I highly doubt it’s open.

“Mais don't forget to put your plug in the boat sha”

They closed too. Water is so high over there the motor to open the bridge is submerged.
