They’re gobbling good on the limb then flying down and shutting up for awhile. They’re henned up like usual early season.

I hunt in Mississippi and got my first this morning, (9.48" beard and 1.16" spurs). I thought the rain was going to ruin my hunt but I got lucky and it held off till I was back in the truck and on my way home. I also heard several other birds which will make for restless sleep while waiting on tomorrow morning to hurry up and get here!
